Y!TunnelPro V2.6 Build 736 Beta

The beta edition is the latest and greatest version
of Y!TunnelPro! This release improves on existing functionality and
provides many new features and enhancements. Because this is a beta
edition some bugs and problems may exist that we are not aware of. This
means that you may experience a problem or two when using this version.
If your communication needs require a stable and bug free version we
recommend that you download and install version 2.5 listed below.


Y!TunnelPro V2.6 Build 736 Now Available!

We have released an update to Y!TunnelPro version 2.6. This new version contains the following changes:

* Updated how automatic replies are sent by the Spam Sentry and when
notifying contacts their message was been blocked. This addresses
several isolated issues related to people not receiving automatic
replies sent by Y!TunnelPro.
* Fixed a problem that prevented the Protocol Shield from engaging when using Yahoo! Messenger version 11.
* Fixed a problem in instant message privacy that caused "missed
messages" to be incorrectly discarded. This feature is only available
when using Messenger version 11 and is provided by Yahoo!, not
Y!TunnelPro.
* Fixed a problem with Y!TunnelPro not properly handling the
reliable messaging features of Yahoo! Messenger when a contacts message
is blocked.
* Fixed a problem in the connection manager that caused a conflict
with Yahoo! Messenger 11. This should take care of any remaining
connection problems caused by Y!TunnelPro.
* Fixed a problem with the primary login id not being correctly saved when using the Multi-Messenger feature in Y!TunnelPro.
* Fixed a problem with the Spam Sentry preventing automatic replies
from being sent when a contacts instant messages are blocked.
* Updated privacy and filtering preferences so that the "Trusted
Contacts" zone can be disabled. When this zone is disabled people on the
Trusted Contacts list will be treated as buddies.
* Chat Message Filtering has been updated to support zones. You can
not apply different filter settings to buddies and trusted contacts.
* Updated the Spam Sentry so that it more accurately distinguishes
actual messages and p***word validation attempts. This should
significantly reduce the amount of clutter users receive once a contact
has been validated by the Spam Sentry.
* Updated how Y!TunnelPro determines how much time it should wait
before sending an automatic reply through instant messaging.
* Corrected several typographical errors in preferences. Much kudos goes to forum member green_rose for pointing these out
